Fotografie di Francesca Marchi e Andrea Puddu FESTA DEL MARE è una celebrazione che viene istituita in Sardegna da due artisti nati nell’ isola e trasferiti altrove. Il mare viene celebrato e trasportato simbolicamente dalla riva fino alla città dentro un’anfora di ceramica, in un percorso che ricorda il rito della processione. Il progetto tenta di istituire una festività utilizzando pratiche che sono familiari agli abitanti del luogo. //

CELEBRATION OF THE SEA is a celebration founded in Sardinia by two artists who were born on the island, moved elsewhere. Sea is celebrated and simbolically transported from the beach to the city. Water is symbolically transported from the beach to the city, in a similar way to the rite of the procession. The project tries to found a holiday using familiar practices with the inhabitants of the island.
